Hello! I am Nikolaos (Nick) Spanos and I am a researcher in the fields of Computer Vision and Generative AI. I am in my second year of my PhD, mainly researching effective ways of generative modeling with optimal transport and flow matching techniques, as well as practical applications of generatives model and VLMs. I am also working as a researcher for ICCS on the Horizon Project dAIry 4.0, where we propose AI solutions for agriculture and animal health. I have been responsible for co-supervising multiple masters’ thesis as a TA in the National Technival University of Athens and I also am actively involved in lecturing in the Deep Learning and Advanced Artificial Intelligence classes.
